This modulator eliminates the antipollution error that is caused by installing a catalytic converter suppressor or an after-market exhaust system on a Euro 5+ motorcycle.

Installation is very simple: the modulator is inserted between the second lambda sensor (post-catalytic converter) and the motorcycle's wiring/the ECU.

Please note this product DOES NOT REPLACE the final lambda sensor: the sensor MUST BE INSTALLED IN THE EXHAUST or the oxygen reading will be too high.

What is an Oxygen/Lambda Sensor?

The oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust system before the catalytic converter to measure the amount of remaining oxygen in the exhaust gas. Some vehicles may have a second sensor after the catalytic convert for more precise measurements.

Excess oxygen indicates an inefficient combustion and so the fuel management system uses the data from the sensor to adjust the fuel mixture for better efficiency and reduce emissions.
