Many Suzuki motorcycles have a restriction in the first four gears to limit the engine torque at low speeds and improve road safety... but not in 5th gear.
This TRE ("Timing Retard Eliminator") tricks the ECU into thinking you're constantly in 5th gear, so the ECU doesn't use the fuel injection maps for the lower gears where these restrictions are applied.

This product is designed for use in competition and/or on racetracks and is not for use on public roads.

Note
Some motorcycles have a factory gear indicator. This will always display fifth gear, except when in Neutral. In this case, there is an alternative product, the X-TRE from HealTech Electronics, which keeps the stock gear indicator working correctly and also offers a choice of maps.
