INNOVV K6 Compact Dual-Camera Dashcam kit.

The K6 is the most compact/lightweight dual camera kit available and provides Quad HD (QHD) video recording of 2K@30fps from the front camera and 1080p@30fps from the rear camera.
The perfect solution for taking quality video footage of your ride and a security recording of the other vehicles behind you in case of an accident (the K6 continuously records a series of short videos throughout your ride.). You can even use your phone as a rear-view mirror with real-time wide-angle view behind you via the K6 built-in WiFi!

Although the K6 motorcycle kit includes a DC-DC power supply for installation on the bike (so no batteries needed) it also includes a usb-camera adapter if you prefer to connect a power bank instead of the DC-DC power supply.

The front camera/VVR houses the TF memory card of up to 256GB for videos and photos.
Configuration of the DVR and management of the image/video files is done via a dedicated APP, connecting wirelessly via Wifi.

How does it work?

When the camera/DVR is switched on, the camera continuously records a series of short videos (1-10 minutes depending on configuration). This is the Continuous Mode.
When the SD card storage is full, the oldest videos will be overwritten.

If at any moment the button on the front camera bodyis pressed once, the current video being recording is marked as a “Protected” Video and so will not be overwritten in continuous mode.

Automatic Accident Videos

Normally the DVR is recording continuously. If the acceleration/G-sensor option is enabled, the DVR detects any impact/sharp movement, and the current recording is automatically saved into the “Accident Videos” folder and so will not be overwritten.

The INNOVV app is used to configure all the options of the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) such as video format, length, watermarks on the video (time, speed, GPS) and to view the recorded content. It can also download the content from the DVR to the mobile device for sharing.

Connection is via Wi-Fi: the DVR creates its own access point (2GHz).

Installation

Installation is simple, and only requires a connection to the bike's electrical sistem if the DC-DC power supply is used. Otherwise a Power Bank can be used to supply the K6, as shown in the schematic.
All connections between the components are keyed/cannot be connected incorrectly.

SD Card for the INNOVV K6

The high-quality video stream generates a lot of data, for example 1 minute of 4K video generates 375MB of data.
It is recommended to use an SD card rated at a minimum of U3 (UHS Speed Class 3) / V30 / V60 / V90 (Video Speed Class 30/60/90).
