Heat Shield

Eazi-Grip Heat Shield is a high-performance material used to protect components from radiant heat generated by the exhaust and engine in the most extreme racing conditions.

The composite material uses layers of aluminium foil, glass fibre, flame-resistant polyurethane and silicon adhesive, providing a barrier up to 550°C. Despite the high barrier specification, the material is not bulky and combined with the adhesive backing, facilitates the installation.

Although the heat shield is primarily used in race applications, it is also used for protection of sensitive equipment, cables etc. in any extreme- temperature environment.

Note that the heat-shield must NOT be placed directly on the heat source (the silicon adhesive may ignite): it is intended only to dissipate radiant heat, not conductive heat.
