A CESE (Controlled Electronic Suspension Eliminator) module allows the disconnection/removal of the factory/OEM electronic (mechatronic) suspension component from the bike’s wiring harness and prevents an FI error code.
Electronic suspension systems are monitored/checked by the ECU.
If there is a fault or they are disconnected, the ECU will detect the fault and indicate “FI” on the dashboard.
The CESE mimics the characteristics of the original suspension system and so the ECU does not detect a fault when the component is replaced by the CESE.
Many riders prefer a traditional fully mechanical suspension that offers comprehensive adjustment and better feedback.
So, to replace the electronic suspension with a mechanical system requires a CESE to prevent a permanent “FI” fault which may also restrict the performance of the engine.
Features
- Plug & Play – no cutting or splicing into the original harness
- No programming or ECU flashing required
- Compact – very small module – see the images for the size Waterproof and epoxy sealed for shock protection
Notes
CESE-01: Each suspension component requires a CESE. Consequently, two modules are required to replace the front suspension and two more for the rear.
CESE-02/CESE-03: One module will replace all the suspension components
