INNOVV K5 4K resolution Dual-Camera Dashcam kit for motorcycles/powersports.
The K5 Dashcam kit provides the highest quality video recording possible in the INNOVV range with 4K video@30 frames per second (fps) from the front camera and 1080 resolution @30fps from the rear camera.
The GPS receiver operates at 5Hz (most dashcams use 1Hz), updating the location information 5 times per second.
The K5 Wi-FI connection to the INNOVV app offers dual-band Wi-Fi (2Ghz/5GHz) for a more reliable connection.
The K5 can provide continuous/loop recording, accident videos, parking accident videos and video/photos on demand by using the handlebar-mounted remote-control unit.

How does it work?
When the camera is powered, the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) immediately starts to record a series of short videos (1-10 minutes depending on configuration). This is the Continuous Mode. When the SD card storage is full, the oldest videos will be overwritten.
If at any moment the Remote Control button is pressed once, the current video is stored as a Protected Video and so will not be overwritten.
A double-press of the button will take a photograph.
Accident Videos
Normally the DVR is recording continuously.
If the acceleration sensor is enabled, the DVR detects any impact/sharp movement and the current recording is automatically saved into the “Accident Videos” folder and so will not be overwritten.
Parking Mode
Normally the DVR is switched off when the bike’s ignition is off.
In Parking Mode, the K3 stays active and uses the acceleration sensor to detect if the bike is subjected to a impact/sharp movement and begins recording. Parking videos are stored in their own folder to prevent being overwritten.
Protected (User) Videos
Normally the DVR is recording continuously.
By pressing the remote control button once, the currently recording video is stored in a protected folder to prevent being auto-overwritten.
App (Android/iOS)
The INNOVV app is used to configure all the options of the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) such as video format, length, watermarks on the video (time, speed, GPS) and to view the recorded content. It can also download the content from the DVR to the mobile device for sharing.
Connection is via Wi-Fi: the DVR creates its own access point. The K3 offers 2GHZ, the K5 offers 2GHz/5GHz.

FAQ
There is an extensive FAQ section on the INNOVV website which may answer your query. If not, please contact us.
SD Card for the INNOVV K5
The high-quality video stream generates a lot of data, for example 1 minute of 4K video generates 375MB of data.
It is recommended to use an SD card rated at U3 (UHS Speed Class 3) / V30 / V60 / V90 (Video Speed Class 30/60/90).
The markings on the SD should indicate the class:
Problem: your mobile device Wi-Fi does not detect/list the INNOVV DVR Wi-Fi in the list of access points
The INNOVV K5 may be factory-configured to use the 5GHz Wi-Fi frequency. If your device does not support 5GHz, it will not be able to list the DVR nor connect to it until the frequency is changed.
Either use a device which supports 5GHz to enter and change the configuration, or download and install the firmware "V1.1.12 update 20210827 (With Default 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi)" which will reset the Wifi to 2.4GHz.
Deleting Videos
The Continuous videos and photos may be deleted from within the app.
The Accident/Parking/Protected videos cannot be deleted via the app.
To delete the Accident/Parking/Protected videos, one of the following methods may be used:
- Download the video(s) to the mobile device via the app and subsequently format the SD card via the app, to delete all videos.
- Remove the SD card from the DVR and access it with another device/PC to copy and delete the videos.
- Connect to the DVR using a micro-USB cable to download and delete these files.
However, the USB port must be capable of powering the DVR independently of the bike's ignition, which requires a 800mA current supply: most usb ports can only supply 500mA.
Also the micro-usb cable must be compatible with handling this current: most thin, cheap cables are not compatible.
Firmware Updates
Firmware updates for the DVR are available from the INNOVV website here.
