Scorpion Dual Injector kit

The Scottoiler Scorpion Dual Injector accessory delivers oil to both sides of the chain simultaneously.

It is an upgrade suitable for all Scottoiler chain oiler systems and replaces the standard single injector normally included with Scottoiler systems.

Why use the Scorpion Dual Injector?

With the standard single injector, adequate oil coverage of the chain requires an appropriate flow rate. Sometimes the flow rate necessary to cover both sides of the chain can result in some excess oil being thrown from the chain.

By using the Dual Injector to deliver oil continuously to both sides of the chain, the flow rate can be reduced to a minimum, resulting in more efficient oil use and so increasing the riding distance between refills.

The use of the Dual Injector will also result in a cleaner bike by using a low flow rate, as little or no excess oil will be flung off the chain.

Features

• Easy installation
  The Scorpion uses a high-strength 3M adhesive pad to secure the base to the swingarm. No ugly tie-wraps around the swingarm and no drilling required to keep it securely in place.
• Adaptable base for shaped swingarms
  The base can be used in either orientation: whether the chain is on the left or right side of the bike.
  It is also moulded to allow it to be bent around almost any shape of swingarm and to be easily cut for fitting into narrow spaces.
• Adjustable base
  The base uses a slot for fixing the Scorpion body. This allows the body to be precisely positioned horizontally on the sprocket whenever the wheel is adjusted to allow for replacement/adjustment of the chain.
• Adjustable body
  The Scorpion body has three lateral spacings. Just cut/remove the spacer(s) as required to get a perfect lateral position centred on the sprocket.
• Replaceable parts/serviceable design
  The Scorpion uses the standard Scottoiler oil tubing. This is fixed in the open-housing to allow it to be easily replaced if damaged.
  The black oil delivery nibs are made from the standard Scottoiler black vacuum tubing (used in the vSystem) also allowing for easy replacement or to substitute for a longer reach in the case of a sprocket with little space for fitment.
• Tough design
  The plastic used in the Scorpion components is tough, instead of hard. This allows it to better withstand impacts from stones and road debris without cracking or shattering.
• Safe design: in the unlikely event of the body/base separating from the swingarm, the soft plastic and aluminium fixings will not cause any damage to the steel chain or sprocket.
