The Healtech ARA "Advanced Rider Assistant" is the ultimate accessory to get the maximum enjoyment and safety from your motorcycle. Ever feel that the power of your bike is more than you can safely use? The ARA provides the intelligent limitation of that power …. so you never lose control, ensuring the most efficient use of that power in all situations.
ARA Features
Traction Control / Anti-Wheelie Control ("AW-TC")
12 stages of control are available, to suit your preference and riding style, ensuring wheel grip/traction is always maintained, even with the most powerful sportsbikes and the most demanding riders.
Launch Control ("LC")

Top Speed Limiter (Pit Lane Limiter – "PIT")
Set your top speed or pit lane speed: activated by a dedicated switch. Avoid pit lane penalties or set a limit for less-experienced riders.
Compatibility
The ARA is compatible with many motorcycles. Find your bike in the Healtech Product Advisor. If the ARA is not listed for your bike, please contact us.
ABS-equipped bikes: there are plug and play harnesses available to facilitate he installation. Bikes without ABS: an additional speed sensor disc must be installed to use with the ARA.
Note the ARA is compatible only with bikes having a Transistor-controlled Ignition (TCI). It is not compatible with older bikes having Capacitor Discharge Ignition (CDI).
What do I Need to Buy?
The Healtech Product Advisor will tell you the components required for your bike:
The ARA requires a speed signal from both wheels. This allows it to know when a wheel is losing traction and so when to control the power.
ABS-equipped bikes already have speed sensors on both wheels, so these are the easiest bikes on which to install the ARA. For bikes without ABS, a speed sensor and disc must be installed on the wheel without a factory sensor (usually the front wheel). Although wheel speed sensor kits in various sizes are available, mechanical skills are required and some modification may be necessary to fit the sensor ring safely.
Typical Installation Procedure
Connect the ARA harness to the ignition coil signal wire. This may be using a plug & play harness or a direct connection, depending on the bike.
Connect the ARA harness to the ABS module where fitted (two direct connections) or install the speed sensor disc for non-ABS bikes.
Connect the ARA harness to the clutch switch signal wire.
If your bike uses a QSH-Pxx cable to the ignition coils, the ARA-Kxx cable connects between the bike's harness (from the ECU) and the QSH cable. It must NOT be connected between the QSH cable and the coil.
Configuration
All configuration settings for the ARA module are managed wirelessly via Wifi by the ARA app (Android/Apple): no need to physically access the ARA module after installation.
Although all Setup and Configuration information and Help is contained within the app, a pdf configuration guide is also available for download here.
