What are cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. These allow us to store your account information and provide features to make your shopping on our website easier. Cookies are text files and can be opened by a text editor to view the contents.

What cookies are in use on this website?

  1. "cookiesDirective"
When you first visited the site, the drop-down banner at the top of the page asked for your agreement to use cookies. The “cookiesDirective” cookie stores your agreement and so prevents the drop-down banner from appearing again.
If you delete or block this cookie, the drop-down banner will continue to appear on every page.
  2. “zenid”
This session cookie is created by the online shop software and contains a unique ID number which identifies this browser session to the online shop, to separate it from other visitors. The session cookie contains no personal identity information, and so is anonymous, as a 3rd-party cannot use anything in the cookie to identify the visitor in any way. This session cookie expires at the end of the visitor's session in the browser, or at a predefined time (typically 24 minutes) after their last "click", whichever is sooner.
If you delete or block this cookie, you may still use the shop.
  3. _gat”, “_ga” and “_gid
These are used by Google Analytics, a tool many website owners use that records how users interact with website content, how they got to the site, where in the world they are located etc. Google Analytics does not store any personal information about website users.
You may delete or block these cookies without reducing the functionality of the shop.
