Engine Case Cover "Race" kit (4) - BMW S1000R 2017-2020, S1000RR 2017-2018, S1000XR 2015-2019

R&G Racing Engine Case Cover Kit.

This kit includes 4 protectors:

• ECC0043R - Left Hand Side Generator Case Cover
• ECC0173BK - Right Hand Side Water Pump Case Cover
• ECC0206R - Right Hand Side Clutch Case Cover
• ECC0355R - Right Hand Side Pulse Case Cover

Note: this product includes the water pump protector, for the kit without the water pump protector check the product KEC0097R.

Note: the ECC0173BK cover does not include the Race puck due to its size, but it still offers unbeatable protection.

This cover is the "Race" version which has a replaceable "puck" on the impact point as shown here.

This avoids having to replace the entire cover in the case of a "minor" slide, crash or drop.

R&G Racing Engine Case Covers are a natural complement to standard side crash protectors and essential equipment for racers. Apart from excellent protection, they also look great and could save you a lot of money in the event of a fall!

The ECC/KEC covers are made from 4mm polypropylene for high strength and resistance without sacrificing ground clearance.

The covers fit on top of the original engine casing (using longer bolts in the original fixing holes) so there's no need to remove the existing engine/clutch cover nor use any glue.
The kits include everything necessary for installation.

These covers are approved by the British Superbike Championship (BSB) and the MotoAmerica Series. This approval means that racers and teams competing in events under those authorities now have the peace of mind from using a product that has been heavily tested and exceeds the specifications required for racing.
