Features

The following checks to be performed quickly and accurately.

1) Rear wheel alignment check

Apart from affecting the handling, improper alignment of the rear wheel can cause excessive wear on the sprocket teeth, drive chain transmission, wheel bearings, cush-drive, axle and tyre, all leading to premature failure.

2) Bent/twisted Swingarm

A bent or twisted swingarm will greatly impair the handling of the motorcycle and cause uneven tyre and drive-train (chain/rear sprocket) wear. For safety reasons, motorcycles with a bent/twisted swingarm should not be used at all.

3) Bent/twisted Fork-leg

Even a slow-speed low-side can easily bend the fork tubes and the lower triple clamp at the same time, this has a very serious impact on handling.

4) Bent/twisted Headstock

In the event of a crash, motorcycle frames are prone to bending/twisting especially in a frontal collision. The smallest deviation from the design specification may render the bike useless and dangerous for street and track riding.

5) Wheelbase measurement

A variation of the wheelbase can indicate the result of a frontal collision due to the increased angle of the headstock.
